Nvidia has been pretty tight-mouthed on details of their next-gen DirectX 10 card ,but now it seems someone's gotten a hold of one of their yet to be released cards. It's hard to tell whether the images are fake or not, but spec-wise the card sounds like it's worth the wait. It'll be based on the G80 GPU and have a core clock scalable to 1.5GHz.

Other mouth-watering details include 768MB of DDR4 memory and a built-in hybrid water/fan cooler for overclocking. More sultry video card pics after the jump.

Meizu Miniplayer

The Meizu Miniplayer review looked at yesterday is getting an "SP" edition. yet it's nearly $30 cheaper than the price of the standard edition.

The SP should still play back WMV/MP3/OGG/WAV/XviD files, still have the great screen, and still have the same scroll panel. We expect it will still not work with the Apple iTunes or PlaysForSure stores, but when's the last time a company took down the price AND added new features?
This price drop is only available in China for now, but maybe it will be about $164 for a 4GB video capable player elsewhere.

LG New MPlayer

This new LG sports a 2.4 inch display, is cased in some serious aluminum, stores 4GB of media, and uses a touch-screen interface. Video playback is only 3 hours on a charge, but music playback is rated at 24 hours .

it supports e-books and is using touch-screen even if it means we will put a huge thumbprint all over Josh Hartnett's naturally perfect features. Of course, the case does leave plenty of room for buttons since the screen doesn't take up one complete side by a longshot...No word on price yet.

HTC Smartphone

The latest PDA/phone Artemis, continues their tradition of great phones in a PDA body.
The most notable feature: a built-in GPS with the Sirf-Star III chipset which enables built-in navigation functions. Other great stuff were the clear call quality, A2DP Bluetooth, touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, and the BlackBerry Pearl-like scroller. The ball can actually control a cursor on the screen as well as scrolling through menus.
The bad? The aging 200MHz processor and the lack of a QWERTY keyboard. Because of this, you probably won't be doing too much messaging or emailing—it's more for organizing and navigation.

Samsung Slims TV

Samsung has figured out a way to make HDTVs even thinner by combining OLED and active-matrix LCDs. The innovation eliminates the backlight, the thickest part of a flat panel, thus shaving it down to an iPod nano-esque 12mm thick. The 1600x1200 demo unit's 17-inch screen is shaped in the old-fashioned 4x3 aspect ratio and eeks out a lame 1000:1 contrast ratio, but it's the first one out of the gate so we'll cut it a bit of slack.

This AMOLED (active-matrix organic light emitting diode) technology is promising, already being used in cellphones and PMPs by Samsung, and it's high time it were scaled up for the big screens. Tech to watch.

LG Metal Cellphone

LG already has the cellphones with stupid names market corned with the Chocolate, but now it hopes that the Shine will do just as well, if not better. Part of the company's "Black Label" series of pseudo fancy cellphones, the Shine packs a 2-megapixel camera and 1GB of onboard storage space; presumably, you'll be able to add to the storage with the use of memory cards. As the picture so plainly shows, the body is of the shiny metal variety, giving a sort of brushed metal effect that Apple loves to tack onto its applications nowadays. The Shine is also able to set user-recorded video and set it as the wallpaper.

If the Chocolate can make it stateside, I don't see why we won't see Shine sometime in the future. LG, just let it ship with a certain buttery beat as a ringtone (think "Shinin'" from Lumines), and this will be a hit.

iPod Wants To Be Touched

the 6G iPod will be released in December, and it will be capable of 480p resolution. The source confirmed that it will be a touchscreen model with virtual click wheel control, but made no mention of whether wireless connectivity would be part of the package.

I've seen the iPod touchscreen patent documentation, and we've entertained countless rumors and even reliable tips about the upcoming device; what we need to see now is a real picture of it. One thing's for sure, if this widescreen iPod is released in the next two months, the Microsoft Zune with its old-fashioned 4x3 screen and crippled WiFi will be slam-dunked.

Linksys WRT350N Gigabit 802.11N MIMO Router

The new Linksys WRT350N has Storage LInk, which lets you add additional storage to your network. Attach any USB 2.0 hard drive to the router and it becomes accessible to the WRT350N's media server so you can access all your files anywhere in the home. It's even UPnP compatible, so your Windows XP box can detect it immediately.
The wireless portion uses MIMO, which increases range, decreases dead-spots and overall gives you more speed for your money. Since it's draft 802.11N, there's no guarantee it will work with the final N products. Since the WRT350N isn't' actually available yet, you won't have to make up your mind whether to go draft N or wait for full N just yet.

Sandisk 2GB MicroSD

Sandisk has announced their new 2GB MicroSD card - double the capacity of their former 1GB offering. While they are not the first 2GB MicroSD on the block, they are...err...the most Sandisk of current offerings. Look for them in Japan Oct. 25th. Sandisk's site acts like they might be available in the US as well (linking to local retailers).
I still don't have any devices that require MicroSD, so I've been saving money by purchasing larger formats. But I would probably sleep better at night if I started purchasing MicroSDs and using adapters - which is a lot more practical with 2GB available.

Sidekick 3

The Special Edition Sidekick 3 by LRG that we saw a few weeks ago, is finally official, and available for preorder on the 30th of October. There isn't any special added functionality, just the same old browser, trackball, 1.3MP camera, instant messaging and killer QWERTY. You're paying, of course, for the camo paintjob. Perfect for hiding and texting in the park, or on hunting trips, or during...war. Or if you're a rapper, since yea, its an LRG design. Tupac and Biggie never would have gotten shot if they'd traded in their chromed out Motorola Startacs for one of these.
But there's a surprise in the form of a black Sidekick 3 LE model by working girl designer Diane Von Furstenberg. This isn't like the other black ones we saw on ebay awhile back, though. Nokia Wants to Be Touched

Nokia is taking our gadget-fondling addiction one step further with its concept Aeon phone. The cell phone ditches a traditional keypad for a touchscreen display you can caress with your delicate fingers. It's different than Nokia's previous keyless phone and seems like it'd make less of a bulk in your front pocket than Synaptics' Onyx phone we wrote about last week. The Aeon is still a concept phone, however, so Apple still has time to steal their thunder with an iPhone of their own.

Shareplayer, Share Files

The Flashpoint Shareplayer is an MP3 player/radio that can record voice and store files, ranging in sizes from 128MB to 4GB and starting at $89.99. For those functions alone, the Shareplayer seems a little expensive.

But the Shareplayer can do more, like...errr...sharing. Sure, MP3s can be downloaded to another computer (unlike the iPod), but can also be shared to any mobile device with USB support. Pictures can be loaded onto a friend's digital camera - or downloaded to free up space. Hey, maybe you could go on your next vacation without the laptop .

Essentially, the Shareplayer does exactly what we wish all USB thumbdrives/MP3 players could do -everything. It will just cost you a little more.

The Renault Twingo may look like a Geo Metro on the outside, but on the inside it is teched out head-to-toe roof-to-tire. It has two iPod docks! Two! Besides the two iPod docks, it also has a 15-inch screen, in-car PC, USB connection, internet connection and an eight-can cooling device. Did I mention that it has two iPod docks? My pants just got a little tighter.

Fujitsu's Concept Tablet PCs

these two Concept Tablet PCs look like something even sexier than MacBooks and MacBook Pros. First there's the Turn Tablet PC, which is a large PC with a magnetic screen and a stylus that runs Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. It includes a standard keyboard and touch-pad, with a slot-loading DVD drive on the front.
The second is a smaller UMPC-like device with the swiveling screen and a PSP/PS3-like UI. We're not exactly sure what the swiveling screen is for, but it sure does look cool. Plan on seeing these in your local Circuit City around the year two thousand and never.

Toshiba Portable Media Player

Toshiba was showing off a video player at CEATEC in Japan that's a hybrid DVD and personal media player (PMP), and it also supports the DivX video codec and 1seg digital TV.
If you're not familiar with 1seg, it's an HD mobile digital video broadcasting service in Japan that was officially launched in April of this year, and uses the H.264 video codec.

Although this Toshiba unit does have a widescreen, there was no info available about its resolution, nor was there any word about its ship date and availability. But if it can't handle at least 720p, well, that would be just dumb.

Axis has a knack for making small network cameras, and it claims that its latest delivers the best image quality "in its class" (whatever that is) and that it's the world's smallest megapixel (1280x1024 pixels) network camera. Given the adorable name of the 207MW, this camera comes with both wired and wireless (802.11g) interfaces, so installing it should be an simple feat regardless of your network's infrastructure. These tiny network cameras are usually aimed at [crazy] people who want to keep an eye on their homes while away 24/7. Love thy neighbor.
Expect to find this little gem online for just over $500. Perhaps your money would be better spent installing a moat around your house? I imagine it'd offer the same amount of protection, especially since all this camera would let you do is watch the burglary in real time.

Creative Xmod- XFI

Creative claims that its latest invention is able to improve the sound quality of everyday music sources—like the iPod, Zen or just a stack of MP3s residing in your computer—to "beyond the original CD quality." It uses Creative's X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity technology to enhance the sound. Basically, you place the Xmod, which is the size of a "candy bar," in between your speakers and digital audio source and let it work its voodoo. It draws power from your computer, so if you're hooking it up to a portable audio player, you'll need to make use of the AC adapter, which is sold separately, natch.

The Xmod will hit stores this month and will retail for $79.99. For some reason, the phrase "wait and see" comes to mind.

Sony's Next Audio Player:NW-S706

Sony's about to release the NW-S706 flash memory-based digital audio player, set to ship a week from today. The 4GB player will be available in black, pink and purple, and will feature line-in recording, an FM tuner and 50 hours of battery life.
It's also said to be able to charge quickly, and its thumbwheel navigation style is similar to the dildo-esque NW-S200 Sony released a month ago, which maxes out at just 2GB. The NW-S706 is rumored to cost around $336, way more than the 8GB nano at $249. Half the capacity for nearly $100 more? For Sony's sake, let's hope that pricing rumor is incorrect.

Shenzhen Adragon Digitek is offering an Anlong MP4 wristwatch. Pretend you are just checking the time as you tune out the ramblings of bosses/children/firemen to watch your favorite soccer team score a goal.

These four cellphones from Sony Ericsson are mid to high-range handsets, targeted towards people who want a little bit more functionality and are willing to pay for it. All gone? Good.
The Z558 is a clamshell has handwriting recognition, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 4x digital zoom, 18MB of internal storage, andpush email. It's tri-band GSM and can support Memory Stick Micro cards up to 1GB.

BenQ-Siemens Black Box Concept Phone

BenQ is still making phones in Asia, just no longer in the German market. This is one of the concept phones being worked on—the Black Box. No keypads, no buttons, just a big ass touchscreen. From the initial pictures it looks like the interface changes on the fly. I'm digging the black minimalist design overall. It will probably never see the light of day as an actual product, but it is still cool to look at, nonetheless.

HP Releases the HD100, First USB 2.0 HD-DVD Drive

HP does pretty well for itself and the HD100 is the first USB 2.0-based external HD-DVD player. If you want to take advantage of the drive's HD-DVD playback, you'll need at least a single-core 3.2GHz Pentium or an AMD 64 X2 2.2GHz. (And companies wonder why consumers aren't jumping on the high definition DVD bandwagon yet.) Furthermore, if you want external output, you'd better have an HDMI or HDCP-compliant DVI-D cable lying around. Otherwise, you're in for quite a disappointment. It also won't burn regular DVDs. Quality.
It's due by the end of the year, with an unknown price right now. I'm sure it'll be reasonable.

The smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, which they say can take dvd-like video clips. Does that mean 848 by 480? I don't know. it also has a 2.6-inch QVGA screen, and runs on the well supported Symbian 60 OS. It also has HSDPA and EDGE cellular data. Oh, it has nice Flickr integration with the photos you take.

And it's got this "2-way slider" thingamabob that kicks out both a numeric keypad and media control keys. Sounds like...a butterfly...pretty, but sounds like a complicated setup from a company I used to call the Apple of cellphone.

Hasselblad H3D DSLR: 39 Megapixels

Hasselblad unveiled its next masterpiece, the Hasselblad H3D, a digital SLR camera to be offered in 22-megapixel and 39-megapixel trim. Inside are some relatively gargantuan image sensors, the largest ones in the world at 48x36mm. But you'd better have plenty of storage on hand—the dimensions of that 39-megapixel frame are 5412x7212 pixels, filling up well over 110MB per pic.
Bring plenty of money, too, because the price of this camera, made by the company whose cameras were the first on the moon, will be almost enough to finance your own personal moonshot. No word on exact pricing, but if the past is prologue, it'll be somewhere upwards of $30K to $40K.

The new models sport the same amount of storage as the older ones, holding 40GB and 80GB respectively.Epson say that the new versions are 250 percent faster than the older ones. Other improvements include a slightly larger body, an increase in screen size from 3.8 inches to 4, and a slightly more intuitive button layout.The devices have a four-colour filter that are capable of reproducing 16 million colours, providing ultra-clear viewing of images. Videos, photos, and MP3s can all be stored on the device, and transferred directly from CF or SD cards, thanks to two slots at the top.They’re not for sale yet, but are expected toward the end of the year, for $500 for the P-3000 and $700 for the P-5000.

Nokia N75 Smartphone

The smartphones get smaller and thinner, and Nokia rolled out its N75 clamshell WCDMA and GSM smartphone today that's just 20.2mm thick. It has a 2-megapixel camera and a 2.4-inch 320x240 screen inside, and music keys on the outside. It includes Nokia's Internet browser and e-mail, too, and lets you view e-mail attachments in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and even the loathsome PDF format.
The company says the N75 can standby for 200 hours and will let you gab for 250 minutes before the battery runs out.

Cellphone from Xun Chi

the Xun Chi 138 is scarcely larger than an AA battery and it weighs just two ounces. Too small to even dial, it requires you to use a stylus on a touchscreen and plug in a headset to talk and listen.
Since it only supports Chinese character recognition, we won't be seeing it stateside anytime soon, but before it's shipped here the company might consider learning how to spell the word "megapixels."

Pioneer MT-01 Power Line Sound System

The Pioneer MT-01 Power Line Sound System lets you pump music through those tubes, using up to six of the speakers plugged into electric outlets all over the house. The speakers lie in wait until you walk in, when their energy-saving motion sensors automatically crank up that music from your choice of two sound sources they're receiving from their mother ship, called the Sound Station.

Panasonic First Blu-ray Hybrid Recorders

While Sony talked about shipping a Blu-ray recorder with no release date announced, Panasonic actually shows us the first Blu-ray hybrid recorders, its DMR-BW200 and DMR-BR100. They're called hybrid because they combine hard drive recording with Blu-ray single- and dual-layer disc recording capabilities (DVD recording, too, if that matters any more). The higher-end BW200 packs a 500GB hard drive, two digital tuners and one analog tuner. The lower-end BR100 has a 200GB hard drive and a single digital/analog tuner.
The 1080p recorders can also do some neat tricks, such as high-speed dubbing of a hard disk recording onto Blu-ray disc, and the fancier BW200 has a FireWire port for hooking up a digital video camera and Ethernet for program guides and other Internet functionality. Both shipping November 15 in Japan, the DMR-BW200 will be $2550 while the DMR-BR100 will cost $2050.

Opus Operis from Zenum

The highly suspect Opus Operis from Zenum could be vaporware for all we know, but it is nice to check out something that looks like a Pocket PC phone which hails from Utopia once in a while. The Opus, if it ever becomes tangible, will feature 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, Bluetooth A2DP and WiFi connectivity, a landscape QVGA touchscreen display, and a 2 megapixel camera packs into an extremely slim profile. The Opus does not support GSM 850 and EDGE, making it impractical for use Stateside. The keyboard might be nice to look at, but it surely fails miserably as a typing device as you will probably key in more letter than you like when wording a message or replying an e-mail.

HTC will be naming its next Windows Mobile-powered device after the zodiac sign Libra. It is interesting to note that the Libra will feature the traditional numeric keypad as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, all this packed into a much smaller device when compared with current HTC offerings. The presence of the Home and Back buttons on the Libra point more toward a Wnidows Mobile smartphone as opposed to a Pocket PC which sport a Start and OK button instead. Look out for the CDMA version of the Libra in Q1 next year, while the GSM version will be rolled out a wee bit later.

the XCute S50 cellphone other than the fact that it comes with a 2" TFT color display, a built-in media player that does both audio and video, a T-Flash memory card slot, TV out, and supports USB connectivity. This slim candybar handset measures 105mm x 50mm x 9.7mm and weighs in at just 79g, which is pretty impressive considering the manufacturers have even thrown in a 6 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. Systemax Releases New Mini PC Media Centers

Systemax has three new Mini PCs in their line of Impact Media Centers. The Core2 Impact VXR2 Media Center has a built-in TV Tuner, and retails for $899, the Core Duo Impact VXR also has a tuner, and goes for $799, and the Impact2 runs Windows XP Home, and has 256MB and a 40GB hard drive, but no tuner.
The VXR2 and the VXR, the two with tuners, have a remote control, an S-Video port, FireWire, two USB 2.0 ports, DVI, and SPDIF audio. All three units will ship October 1, and have a footprint of 6.5-inches square and are 2-inches in height.

Sony LCD TV with Sliding Speaker

It seems that LCD concealing products are a big trend this year at CEDIA. This is a Sony LCD TV that comes loaded up with a motorized, flat-speaker that can slide up and down concealing the TV leaving just the big speaker visible. The flat speaker also has an integrated DVD/CD/SACD player and FM tuner, so if you want, the TV can be concealed but you can still listen to music.
The actual TV that accompanies this motorized audio unit is a 32-inch LCD with a 1366 x 768 resolution. The official name of this is the TAV-L1/R and will go for $4,000. It is kind of a neat system, but $4,000 for a 32-inch LCD and fancy speaker? Sounds a bit expensive.

Since it's their Elite line, we can be sure of three things: Top line parts inside, a robotic user interface, and a price tag that'll hurt more than a titty twister by a circus strongman.

iriver s10 Slam Dunks the shuffle One Day Later

To hell with that Cupertino Fruit Company, if you want a full-featured portable audio player check out the iriver s10, not much bigger than the iPod shuffle but bringing a 1.15-inch 128x96 OLED screen and FM recording, too. The 2GB flash-based player is pendant-small at 1.6 inches x 1.2 inches and it's just a third of an inch (10mm) thick, plus it weighs far less than an ounce, only 1.9g heavier than that screenless shuffle.
That screen saps the s10's battery life a lot quicker than the shuffle, though, lasting just eight hours. No matter, we'd rather wear this pretty-screened bauble around our necks than go clipping on a gray object that looks like a half a stick of chewing gum like all the other sheep will be doing. But that's just us.

Sony Launches HDD-Based, DVD DL-Media Recorders

When not busy totally messing up the launch of the PS3, Sony devotes some time to releasing some decent electronics, like their latest line of of media recorders, including the RDZ-D900A, the RDZ-D800 and the RDZ-D700. All three recorders feature a hard drive for storing recorded content (the former two have a 400GB hard drive, while the latter has a 250GB hard drive) and can burn onto DL DVDs. The primary difference between the three of them is that the RDZ-900A features an HDMI port, and an iLink DV connector, so you can hook your video camera up to it. Additionally, the RDZ-900A can interact with the PSP and supports MPEG-4. Why they all can't do that is beyond me, but Sony hasn't exactly been on the ball lately.
All three media recorders go on sale on November 1 in Japan for the ever-popular "open price."

Samsung develops CTF-based NAND memory

Here's more news from Samsung - apparently the Korean company has developed the first 40nm memory device in the industry with the Samsung 32 Gigabit NAND flash device incorporating a Charge Flash Trap (CTF) architecture. This new CTF-based NAND 32Gb flash memory greatly increases the reliability of the memory and can be incorporated in memory cards with densities of up to a whooping 64GB. That amount of space roughly equals to 64 hours of DVD resolution movies or over 16,000 MP3 files. The CTF-based 32Gb NAND flash memory is the 7th generation of NAND flash.

LG unveils MG810 in Brazil

Those who are waiting for a clamshell version of the delicious LG Chocolate cellphone will have to hold out a little longer. The LG MG810 is currently available in Brazil, going for approximately $465. It features the very same heat-sensitive buttons externally which are used to control music, while flipping the MG810 open will reveal a chequered keypad. The MG810 comes with pretty ordinary features which consist of a 1.3 megapixel camera, two displays, support for MP3 and AAC formats, Bluetooth connectivity, an FM radio, and 128MB of internal storage space. It looks like Motorola is making another non-RAZR, which in itself is exciting news. The E690 is a PDA/phone that runs on Linux, yes, Linux. It has standard PDA touchscreen and writing functions, as well as some decent multimedia support - including every video and audio file you could want played through two "3D surround" speakers (where you actually store the media, we don't really know). The phone also supports Bluetooth, WPA with full Internet browsing, and Office App viewing. But USB 1.1 only? That's like selling us a Cadillac without automatic windows.

Virgin is the first UK mobile operator to sign up for BT’s Movio mobile TV service.
From October 1, Virgin customers that use the Lobster 700 (pictured) phone from HTC will be able to tune into digital radio channels and a few TV channels: BBC1, E4, ITV1 and Channel 4 – the latter’s TV will not be live to start with though.
The launch comes after BT’s 1,000-user trial but some people might want to ask where’s Sky and ITV2 – both of which were available for those trialling the service? The first three months will be free. After that, it will remain free for those spending £25 per month or more to Virgin or £5 per month for pay-as-you-go customers. Rumor mill: iTunes going to the movies

Rumors of Apple Computer Inc.'s plans to launch a movie download service gained momentum Tuesday after the company sent invitations to the media, saying "It's Showtime," next week.
The media event scheduled for September 12 is set in San Francisco and coincides with the opening day of the Apple Expo in Paris.
Sources at several Hollywood studios confirmed Tuesday they were in talks to sell their films through iTunes. Teclast TL-29 PMP: MP3 Player

Teclast's R&D division has come up with the TL-T29, a portable media player that actually is pretty eye-pleasing. Also appreciated is that it supports so many gosh darn codecs, including the usual (MP3, WMA, etc.) and the esoteric (FLAC and Ogg). It does all of this with a 2.0-inch, 220x176-pixel resolution window to the world. You'll also find Teclast RBS Surround Sound and Teclast Stone3D Surround Sound. I guess "Gimmicky Audio Trickery" was already taken by some other company.

Battery life is expected to be in the 15-hour range for this portable media player, or PMP as the kids say. The 4GB version will retail for $125 when it comes out.

BenQ C1000 10-Megapixel Camera

BenQ, a name I still don't immediately associate with digital cameras, today announced an update to their C800 digital camera, in the form of the C1000.
Besides that whopping 10.1 megapixel CCD, with double-digit megapixel counts becoming the norm, it features a 3x optical zoom and 2.4 inch TFT-LCD viewing screen.
Featuring PASM (Program AE/Aperture Priority/Shutter Priority/Manual), the camera offers varying levels of automation, from completely automated shooting through to manual control of aperture and shutter settings.
The night-shot mode features an 8-second shutter speed, and there's a quick 4 continuous shot mode, which I'm presuming allows 'rapid fire' photography to be taken. There's also the obligatory VGA movie mode at 30fps.

It comes with a decent 24Mb internal memory and can be used with expansion SD cards.

This Samsung P310 may be tiny, and it may have a brushed metal back, but to us it just looks too much like a calculator to be fashionable or cool. But for those who disagree, it's got a 220x176 color display, Bluetooth 2.0, a microSD card slot, MP3/WMA/AAC playback, 2 megapixel camera, and 30FPS video capture—both with auto focus. Sony Updates UX-180p UMPC After Only Eight Weeks, Now the UX-280p

Either Sony has adopted an expedited release cycle or they're tacitly admitting that they rushed the UX-180p to the market since they've quietly gone ahead and have updated it to the UX-280p. What can you expect now? Sony has doubled the amount of RAM, from 512MB to 1GB, and now sports a 40GB hard drive. It's still just about $2,000 and still uses the Intel Core Solo, so you really shouldn't expect anything drastically different—it's been only two months, remember.
The UX-280p tries to lure you in with its 4.5-inch widescreen display, EDGE and Wi-Fi support. Maybe by the end of the week we'll see the UX-380p hit stores.

Nokia Gussies Up L-Amour Collection: Purdy Phashion Phones, Not Much New

Nokia released three "fashion phones" today, adding to what it lovingly calls the L'Amour Collection, and we're squinting pretty hard to find something in these three handsets that's more than just style over substance. The 7360 (pictured at left) we've seen before, but it has new styling, with inlaid leather, metal and transparent surfaces. It's available in the chrome and black style you see here, or in a girly pink. Yep, it's essentially the same triband GSM/GPRS budget model (EUR 200) that was released last October with a 128x160 display, so nice dress-up there, Nokia.
A bit more interesting is the Nokia 7390 (the two pictured above in the middle), a clamshell 3G handset with a rather impressive 3-megapixel camera and WCDMA high-speed connectivity. There's a bronze black version and a powder pink model, too. It'll run you a little more, around EUR 450.
Then there's the Nokia 7373 swivel phone, which has what the company calls "ethnic patterns" scribbled on both sides, and its claim to fame is its 2-megapixel camera. Nokia didn't announce when these baubles for those who would rather look good than feel good would be available stateside

Palm Treo 700wx For Sprint Officially Launched

After what seems like an eternity of false information, blurry box shots and sketchy spec sheet leaks, Palm has finally shut everyone up with the official announcement of the Treo 700wx's availability for Sprint. By now, everyone (and their mom!) probably already knows its specs, but, just for the sake of being official, a brief summary is in order. Running on Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition, the Treo 700wx adds EVDO (broadband for mobile phones, essentially), and includes easy access to e-mail using Direct Push Technology and built-in dial up networking using EVDO (you can jury-rig it to function as a wireless modem using USB, no Wi-Fi required).
Now then, the Treo 700wx is available now from Sprint for $499 after baby-selling rebates and so forth. Let us never speak of it again. – Nicholas Deleon
